Domino is the most celebrated classic biscuit in Finland. It's been around since the 50's.
The main idea for the films was to make the Domino-experience very personal with the feel of product’s long history and it’s Finnish roots.
In our three films we'll see young girl growing up, finding her companion, settling down, having a family and ending up forwarding the heritage of Domino to her grandchildren.
Story is told through beautiful “frozen moments” that magically form from outlines in front of viewers eyes. These minimally animated scenes come alive through the movement of the camera and lines transforming into objects, characters and landscapes.
Many thought that this project was done by drawing on top of existing video, but actually almost everything is hand-drawn and then composited in AE. We had some minor 3D elements in the background to facilitate the drawing process.
